Tree Trunks for decor

Donna, on May 2, 2012 at 9:37 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

Anyone know where i can get a hold of tree trunks for decor? I'd like to place some down the aisle so I can place candles or flowers on top. Like 1-2 ft tall and 7 inches wide? Or any size? i've only found slabs on line to purchase but not actual trunks. anyh elp would be great! Smiley smile

Looks like it will be expensive

Maybe try posting on Craigslist what you're looking for. Someone might have an old dead tree they had to cut down and you can buy it off of them for cheap.

We just cut our tree down and just had the guys chop up the wood to make mulch

My husband just suggested that you call a tree cutting company and ask them if you've can have a tree they cut down or purchase one from them. He seems to think they'll give it to you for free

I too was on the hunt for tree branches. Luckily (for me not for my parents) the drought we had here last year killed 17 trees on their property. We will be cutting them down in the fall and mounting them to stand around our venue.
