I am of caribbean decent Jamaican and Bajan, and a good friend owns property in Chaguanas, Trinidad and we get to stay for free!!!!
Anyone know of any good places in or around there?

That's awesome!! I would definitely plan a day at Las Cuevas Beach and plan a few boat tours!! Sunset cruises are always amazing and I love glass bottom boat tours. If you like water activities there's tons of snorkeling and scuba diving opportunities. 🐟
The Royal Botanical Gardens are supposed to be really beautiful and you can visit the Emperor Valley Zoo!
