Trying on my dress at home...what clips should I get to not damage the dress!?!? Help please

What are the clips they use in the store so I don't ruin my dress? They have a soft paddiing I think, thank youSmiley smile

Ps. I have not had my dress altered at all so it too big right now FYI

    There is a fitting clip specially made for alterations, however the only supplier I know of is wholesale:

    The bridal salon I went to said they just get them from home depot. Maybe you can buy clips there but put cloth between them to protect the dress
