Normally, churches require you to be a member of you want to be married within the church. I can tell you where we got married finding an officiant for $300 would have been impossible.

I would think finding an officiant for $300 shouldn't be a problem, but it seems you are actually looking for a ceremony venue and an officiant. That is definitely going to be harder and you may have to compromise or move your date.

First, check to see what types of officiants/ceremonies are allowed where you live. It may or may not be possible to have a friend get ordained and then you can get married at your reception venue. If that isn't allowed, then look into making an appointment to get married at your local courthouse (which would have the benefit of being venue and officiant in one). It sounds like you aren't a member of a church, but you still might find a church that allows non-members to marry there for a donation. Just keep calling and contacting any of them you can find. Churches require you to be a member for a year or more. Your best bet is an officiant via Thumbtack.com or the vendor tab above.

Are you looking for a church for a specific reason? It doesn't sound like you're overly religious, since most people who attend church regularly have a pastor they can ask about their wedding, and a church at which they can get married if they're members. If it's an aesthetic thing, you may be able to find a chapel to rent as a venue and an officiant - but unfortunately for $300 you're probably going to be going to the courthouse.
