Trying to lose 60 before the wedding.

    Burn more calories than you consume. Weight loss is simple math and it’s when you get into the fad diets that it starts to get complicated. My Fitness Pal is an app that can help you track your calories as well as your macro nutrients, it’s super helpful.

    No soda and low carbs. Count yourself to a certain amount of carbs per day, and your body has to burn the rest from somewhere. Hard to do, but just cutting soda I lost a lot of weight.

    WW (weight watchers) provides great support for losing weight. There plan is easy to follow and going to meetings makes you super accountable. The group always provides new ideas. I highly recommend it if you have not lost this amount of weight before.

    How long do you have?


    I’m trying to do 15 lbs in 3 months with a goal weight of 115-120 lbs!
    Currently I have pre-portioned meals of **** calories a day plus a daily calorie burn requirement of 300 calories.
    I can eat whatever I want as long as it’s in a small enough portion to be under the calorie limit. I can do whatever exercise as well. It’s been 3 days but I feel better already! I can also have one cheat day we’re I can have a glass of wine. Otherwise NO ALCOHOL for me.
    I am curious about intermittent fasting!!! I would love to try it for a few weeks or so.

    Start with diet! Cut out foods that make it easy to gain weight & aren't necessary (soda, coffee creamer, candy, desserts, snacking, etc.) and don't eat out as much. Buy a cookbook or meal plan and make smaller portions of healthy food (that still fill you up). Then develop a consistent workout plan for you that you enjoy.

    Agreed. I lost 90lbs a few years back (on my own), and I am a WW member to keep myself accountable as to not gain 90lbs back!

    I'm currently doing Noom, and it seems to be working well. It's not horribly restrictive, and it is teaching me some better eating habits. I've done WW in the past with great results. Though it was before the freestlye plan. I wasn't a fan of that one. And that was when I gave up WW, hence the need for Noom now 😉


    I also do weights and cardio at the gym intermittently 3/4 times a week.

    We are getting married april of 2021, so I have a year and some. Plenty of time, I could honestly lose more than 60 but I wanted to start with a small goal. I wanted to get into intermittent fasting myself, I may try it as well as calorie counts.

    I use the My Fitness Pal app for past 104 days. I stick w 1200 calories daily and I am doing great. I track everything and once I’m out of calories for the day, my eating is done. It’s ALL about choices. Plus I have been doing and A-Z workout every other day. I shall be looking real lean by Aug.
