Trying to pay on your venue but your job lowers then boon

I'm so sorry about the additional stress. You have nearly a year before wedding and when final payments are due. Hopefully your hours will be restored and things will work out.

Can you pick up a second job to supplement?

I'm sorry that your going through this. Have you thought about doing urbe eats? It's super quick money and a lot safer than actually picking up people. They are super short on drivers so there are a lot of perks right now, like extra cash for each delivery. You could easily make a couple hundred each week. I hope things get better for you. And if they don't just postpone it. I know it's not ideal but times are different now and people will understand.

Literally had this happen to my husband and I before our wedding this year. In January I was reduced to a part time worker from full time and 8 days later my husband was told his position would be dissolved. Luckily they gave him until March before letting him go. We had to readjust our budget and see what we could afford to save each month to go towards the wedding and bills. We did put some money towards savings since the pandemic started because we saw people losing jobs left and right. I wish you the best of luck!

Ugh. When we were in the middle of planning/spending I lost my job… found another 6 weeks later at 1/3 the pay. 😭 I hope it’ll all work out. Cut back if you can.

Bit I have cut way down on takeout I dont go to the nail salon as often but by the 3rd week I have to go lol and I have cut some other expenses to. I going to keep praying

Sending positive vibes your way! If there is one thing I have learned is NOT to stress over money. Cut little costs wherever you can and remember that the same way those hours were cut is the same way you can be blessed abundantly before you know it, so keep a positive mindset and don’t stress.

I need a metal break and all of this yoyoing around makes with my hours for work. So now we are going to cut down alot of stuff but that means seeing if I can give some money to a family member or friend to do our photo for the wedding.
