Tulle draping/lighting...Any success??

Regina, on July 5, 2014 at 11:17 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5

I LOVE all the pictures I see of tulle and lighting, but I am worried that it won't turn out like all the pictures I see (like my Pinterest recreation attempts lol)...Anyone ever done this themselves? (My reception will be held under a beach house (So I was thinking of wrapping the supports and putting something up on the ceiling)

Also is wrapping the lights in tulle a fire hazard?!?

If you use led lights it won't be a fire hazard due to them not putting off the heat of normal lights.

I would ask your venue. I'm sure they've covered questions like this before. They'll know what you are and aren't allowed to do. And if they don't know, they'll definitely find out. While it's your wedding, it's their space. They'll want to make sure everything is okay. Smiley smile But I LOVE that idea. I hope it works out for you.

MOST Christmas lights are not a fire hazard. That's why we can hang them on dead, dried trees.
