View Quoted Comment We ended up going with Kanan, Ahau, and Selina without doing room blocks; just getting a discount code to provide to our guests. It worked out well - although it’s definitely pricier option than going with a resort…. But I think that’s the price you pay for having a wedding in actual Tulum and not outside of Tulum. They are all boutique hotels

Oh that's perfect! I didn't know they did that. There are lots of affordable Airbnbs I've been recommending but there are many that want to stay on the beach. Thanks for the advice and hope you had an amazing wedding

View Quoted Comment I will say that I put some of my family in airbnbs that looked amazing and regretted it as they hated being so far away from the beach and all the activities. Some even ended up booking a hotel after only staying in Airbnb one night.
