So I had been pretty set on buying a tungsten band for FH off Tungstenworld after many, many recommendations. Prices were VERY fair compared to the stores we'd been looking at, and the wonderful sizing warranty. But I was browsing Amazon and found a shop called "King Will" with tungsten bands for only $20, with the same comfort fit. Almost all have 5 star reviews, but I sometimes don't trust those haven't been paid for. Does anyone have any experience with buying one of these? It just looks way too good to be true..

Has your FH tried on a tungsten band? My FH was dead set he wanted one until he tried one on. They are heavy. We then looked at stainless and titanium, much lighter. We ended up going with Titanium. Can't speak to ordering from Amazon.

If your FH has a job where he may hurt his finger.. (I'm weird and think of this kind of thing) a tungsten ring is not the way to go! Tungsten is one of the hardest medals out there, and an emergency team will not be able to cut this ring off if his finger swells! Just the medical student in me coming out.. It's all cute until someone loses a finger.. Lol

We actually got FH a King's Will tungsten band. It was $20 or $30! It is a really fantastic band! Great quality and finish. Jewelry stores tend to really over charge for tungsten (used to work in a jewelry store and got to see the "at cost" price of things).

I bought FH a tungsten ring on Amazon in the past too when we exchanged promise rings, and it still looks the same as the day I bought it years ago.

So I definitely vote "go for it." Smiley smile

FH's Tungsten ring arrived last night and is perfect! It fit true to size (we went to Walmart and he got fitted), and the quality looks good. Bonus, it was $14!

I ordered a ring from King's Will on Amazon! It's FH's "man-gagement" ring. He really wanted something to wear while we are engaged. It's an amazing ring--sturdy, well made, shiny, absolutely beautiful. I was blown away by the quality, especially when this was something I expected to just be a fun, temporary ring. I won't be surprised if he says "nah, I'm good!" when I ask him if he wants a different ring for the actual wedding. I will say, the sizing seemed to run small, at least for him. We ultimately went half a size up from there size he was given at a local jeweler. Luckily returns and exchanges through Amazon are super easy.

The ring you posted is the ring my husband got, same brand and price, from Amazon. He was really worried he would lose or misplace it (based on stories from his friends) so didn't want to spend a fortune, plus he liked the look of tungsten over gold. He's been wearing it for four months and it's held up perfectly, he hasn't lost it, and he loves bragging about what a deal he got on his ring!
