Tux color for the groom

My dress was technically off white and he wore a white shirt. I know there's other people who have more experience with that and they'll probably comment. As for the vest, really just depends on the formality and your fiancé's style. My husband did not wear a vest but he was in uniform. The groomsmen not in uniform did not wear vests either.

Edit: the tux should obviously be a dark color with a matching vest, if you do include the vest.

Black suit, black vest, ivory shirt.

Grey suit, grey vest, ivory shirt, ivory striped tie

DH wore a grey suit and blue shirt and navy tie, I was concerned with the white an ivory clashing as well, I'm glad I went with the blue.

I'm not a big fan of colored vests. They remind me too much of prom.

DH wore a black tux, white shirt, champagne vest and tie. The groomsmen wore navy vests and ties. My dress was ivory. I think it turned out just fine! They took their jackets off for this picture.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate the pics as well. My dress is considered "pearl" which is a slightly darker ivory. After seeing pics of previous brides in my dress with their husbands next to them wearing a white shirt, I definitely noticed a color clash (because as I said, my dress is a darker shade of ivory).

Grey tuxedo, but we wanted it to pop and be a bit more non-traditional so we did polka dotted shirt and funky bowtie.

Dark grey tux, white shirt and black bow tie. My dress is ivory (but, honestly, I think it looks white lol). I'm hoping the colors don't clash.

@Mrs. Faith, I will post a pic once I officially buy it. After all, I did post a couple of times on here about how indecisive I was, it's only fair to show the dress I FINALLY decided on HAHA ;-)

It's between Dark Blue or Dark Grey to go with Burgundy accents, I'm leaving it to him and his mom (she has amazing taste so I totally trust her).

The GM will wear mint ties

My ushers and dad will wear black ties.

He's wearing a dark gray tux with a matching vest. His shirt will be ivory since my dress is ivory. ETA: not sure about the tie yet. The other guys will have coral ties but I think we may want FH to have something different.

My handsome hubby wore a gray suit, white vest and white shirt. The GM wore the same but with gray vests.
