Twine Wrapped Boutonniere - How to wrap them?

on May 7, 2013 at 9:51 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 3

I'm doing a very simple Baby's Breath boutonniere for my wedding. I am just wondering the easiest way to wrap the twine and have it stay on the stems. I realize this may be a silly question, but I'm stumped. I know floral tape would be good to hold the stems together, but I'm really hoping to get ideas for the best ways to keep the twine on - glue, pins, etc? Any help would be fantastic! Smiley smile

I wrapped golf tees with twine for FHs bout. I used hot glue on the back side to hold it a little, but it held pretty well with just tying the bow on the front.

Floral tape first for sure. Then glue dots, hot glue or even Elmer's (it takes longer to dry though.)
