Congratulations! Welcome to WW! We tried to set a budget first. The only problem was we were both clueless as to how much things actually cost. So, have a general idea of what you want to spend and then check out the venues and figure out an aproximate guest list. It is really only then that I would set an exact budget.

Also watching some of the wedding tv shows and writing down ideas and notes (types of flowers/cakes/whatever) that you want to remember is useful. Have fun!

Two brides....no problem!

Although I am pretty quiet on the boards these days WW was my first resource for wedding planning and the ladies here ROCK with advice and support. As you can see by the picture I'm a bride, who loves herself another bride! lol

We are almost at the finish line but have been planning since 08'. I can tell you 'budget' is the key word, but also 'same-sex friendly vendors' is another on the high priorty list in our cases. But, the good news is.... they are out there and some are 100% fabulous!
