Two plate sets on registry

Shower invites are going out this week and my FH and I just finished our registry... except for one thing. We cannot agree on a plate set from bed bath and beyond. The one I like is beige and light brown—very neutral and has a lifetime warranty. So if anything breaks or chips we can get a free replacement. The set he likes is kinda turquoise and brown—I like it but it’s definitely more flashy and less timeless. Would it be weird if we had both on the registry and whatever we get we get? We’re both stubborn and I’d rather not go head to head with him over something as trivial as plates (even though my set is better 😜 lol).
