Anyone using satin table runners how did you get the wrinkles out? I tried steam ironing, and the dryer. Neither worked! I also called around to take them somewhere and ridiculously enough it cost $15.00 PER table runner just to steam!! Uhh.. the table runners themselves where $2.00 each!! Haha. No. Thanks. So anyone have any ideas?! Thanks!

Did you try misting them before putting them in the dryer? Just a mist - not WET - that'll create a nice steamy atmosphere in the dryer....?

Have you tried steaming the bathroom like a sauna and putting them in there? It's a thought. I've done that a few times with shirts and it turned out good

Could you try putting then under a damp towel and ironing that?

You can iron them....just place a dishtowel over the area you are go to iron and use the steam feature as you do it

How about using starch spray when you iron them? My FH uses that stuff to keep the wrinkles from coming back on all of his dress shirts.

I did mist them. I didnt know what setting to use on the dryer I was affraid to shrink them or mess them up so I just used air dry. Maybe I should use a different setting?

You can iron them on a low level or hang them in the bathroom while it's steamed...that should knock those wrinkles out.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have them hanging in the bathroom with the hot shower on. Hopefully that will help. Afterwards I may try the dryer again if they need it. I have 17 of them and they are so long and wrinkled! Wahhh.

Bathroom, straight to a low-setting iron. My sister had to do this with all of her satin placemats and it worked very well.

I would flip them over, spray the back with starch, then take an iron to them on a low setting.

What about that wrinkle release stuff? I'm going to buy some and try it so I'm not sure if it works or not, just thought it might be nice to give it a try. How were you planning on storing everything?
