Ughhh covid bride problems..

Soo many nervous feelings coming out since being a covid-19 bride... but everything seems to slowly be falling into place, other then having to hear some family and friends saying how scared they are to attended our smallish wedding in August which I completely understand. But now I have been waiting for our local Kay jewelers to open back up to pick out my wedding band with my fiancé... little did I know they have COMPLETELY shut down our local store for Good. So I called any other stores within a 2 hour drive and I stumble across 3 that are open, I call to make my appointment but they were booked full, I then scheduled on online virtual appointment to speak with someone and they never even bothered to call... I then spoke to someone who said there vendor was closed and they are not shipping out anything.... buttt wait, I already ordered my fiancé’s ring and they have rescheduled the shipping date 3 times... now the store said they will not have his ring until after August and now I have to go through the process of returning it. So now I am out hundreds of dollars and won’t have my fiancé’s or Is wedding bands for the wedding... I feel like I have been scammed since when I ordered his ring it said it would be here June 29th and then July 7th and now never? Ughhhh I seriously wish I could return my engagement ring and go to another jeweler for that. Never will I ever do business with a Kays ever again. This is ridiculous..

    Ugh that sucks! but i guess due to covid, a lot of shipments did get delayed. i seriously hope they can compensate you somehow like discounting it and what not

    We got my FH’s ring from manly bands. It might be worth looking into.
    You also might be able to find rings from other places like James Allen or brilliant earth.

    Thank you! I’ll look into that.. we found a local place that is open with good reviews 🤞🏻 So I’m hoping they will have something for both of us.

    I had a horrid experience with them too. they ordered the wrong ring 4 times we had to keep driving back and forth an hour and when i spoke to the customer service robot on their website the girl kept telling me there was nothing they could do to make it up to me. then they closed due to covid for months. if i needed the ring for the wedding i woulda been screwed. HATE THEM

    Oh man I'm so sorry this is happening how awful! Maybe you can find just some cheap bands that look nice off Amazon as a replacement until you can get your real bands. I didn't want this to happen to myself so we went and got bands about 9 months before our wedding date, which doesn't matter new since we had to postpone our fall wedding to next year. I hope you can figure it all out and good luck!

    So sorry. I know it's frustrating! A small local business ( like you are going to) will be night and day different.
    Don't worry, they will accommodate you and help you find the rings of your dreams.

    Yes!! We went to a local store and they will size and solder them together. I get to pick it up on Tuesday!! it was much better dealing with them and now those nerves are calm ❤️ Thank you!
