UGLY CARPETING?!?!?!!

These are a few pics of it, this is only a stage set up for pics, it will have alot more decorations and be alot dimmer as well. we have the big package including a lot of uplighting and things.

You're over thinking it. But I'm guilty....I literally turned down a venue because I hated the carpet & the walls. I have no regrets though because now I have a beautiful venue.

I was going to say I agree with Fall Bride - carpet mattered lol.

One venue we visited (sorry Terrace on the Park) had old, dusty looking drapes, and their carpet looked like it had been there since the 1964 World's Fair. That was actually the second most reason I passed on their venue.

Dim the lights, get some uplighting, and no one will notice the carpet until the lights come on and it's time to go home!

I think if people are commenting to you about the carpet that they need to get their priorities straight. You will be fine.

I thought the same thing with our venue. I didn't even notice the carpeting the day of the wedding. No one made any remarks about it. Even with the photos it showed up in, I don't mind it. Don't worry!

I turned down some venues because of the carpet but we wanted to go with simple decorations. I was scared they wouldn't distract from the floors which had some really awful clashing colors and patterns.
