My fiancé and I are eloping in one state and flying home to celebrate soon after, we will only have 40 or so people there and it’s in a small town so venue options were limited. This is what we chose because it was so cheap. Issue is apparent, it’s part of a sports bar and I’m not a sports person, it’s a winter wedding and I still want higher end looking while cheap costs. What should I do? I like white with lots of greenery and warm white lighting, don’t think drape rods will be an option here

Maybe drape the tables with white table clothes, maybe take a sheet to cover up the red wall greenery on the bar this is a tough one

Get rid of the folding tables and rent your own round tables for guests. Those tables and chairs are the true eyesore. Throw some centerpieces on them and some candles on the ledge where that baby sign is. It’ll look much better!

I agree with CountryBride - cover up that red wall! 😉 You can browse Oriental Trading for some other inexpensive decor to help soften the "bar" look - I love their garlands. Ditching those tables and renting rounds, and maybe diy-ing chair sashes can really make a difference. Good Luck!

Will you be opening up that garage door depending on the temperature? That will really open it up. Definitely white/ivory tablecloths. Don't use the florescent lights on the ceiling. You can string up bistro/party lights and have LED candles on the tables. You can also spruce up the chairs with chair sashes like from tableclothsfactory.com and put a little greenery in the knot. I'm having to go with metal folding chairs too and so I'm using chair sashes.
