Is anyone else discovering any insecurities or lapses in overall self-esteem during this process? I keep catching myself doubting that anyone I invite will even consider my wedding important. I also get these feelings like I'm undeserving of all the attention, affection, etc that I'll be getting. I've come a long way in terms of my mental health but the planning process has really shed light on the work I still need to do.

I'm insecure only because of my excess weight from having a baby. I hate looking at myself in a full body mirror. My dress hides most of my flaws for the most part, but knowing my dress size depresses me. I'd kill to be a size 8 or even a 10.

Ugh. Me too. My wedding and work and life in general has made me stressed out and anxious. I'm ready for my honeymoon lol. I'm glad I'm not the only one

I know you’re post was from nearly 3 years ago but this is exactly how I feel. I went dress shopping today and just didn’t feel beautiful. I don’t feel worthy to be a bride. Also I hated all the attention and questions everyone was asking me. I was so stressed out all day and even though I ended up saying yes to the dress I came home & once I was alone I just bawled my eyes out from holding it in all day. This process is VERY hard for an insecure introvert.

I know this is an old post but I have problems reading out loud and sometimes when I'm speaking, I say words that are not what I try to say because of my post concussion syndrome. I really want to write my own vows, but I'm really embarrassed to read out loud in front of the guests, so I think I will just write him a letter to read on the wedding day instead, and just repeat what the officent says.
