Under 21 bachelorette party ideas?

Jennifer S., on June 18, 2013 at 12:29 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 28

Hi guys!

I'm getting married in September, and we are attempting to plan my bachelorette party now, because I have people who will be coming from out of town. The only problem we are having is that we are all under 21 which means there is absolutely NOTHING fun that we can think of to do! (Oh the joys of being 20) Another thing I have to think about is, I am having 2 of my junior bridesmaids there for part of the night. One is about to turn 16 and one about to turn 18. Any suggestions of things to do? We kinda want to do something with the younger girls earlier in the evening, and then my MOH and I go do something more for our age later on.

Thanks!

Go to a thrift store, buy an old wedding type dress for yourself and get your bridesmaids to purchase old fancy looking dresses , then head to a nearby paintball field and have a few matches! Then follow it with a girls night!

Have a slumber party. Snacks, drinks (non-alcoholic, of course), pedicures, movies, girl talk.

Or go to an amusement park, maybe do a scavenger hunt there.

Go to the beach/pool, one friend got rooms for a weekend at the beach.

We went on a cruise to Mexico since my youngest sister wasn't 21. It was a blast!

My MOH has planned a day of spa, shopping, lunch, and hotel for my bachelorette. We aren't much into drinking anymore. Plus, that sounds way more fun to me! Lol don't get me wrong, there will be a little bit of alcohol available, but def not the main focus.

We had this problem when I was planning one for someone. One of the girls was under 21 so we had a dinner with everyone and then went out after the dinner withouth her.

I always love the slumber party idea! My MOH was also under 21 when she got married - as well as having 2 of 3 pregnant BM's - so booze was not in the cards for them. We went to murder mystery dinner - which was a lot of fun. You could look into something like that!

I am doing two separate bachelorette parties. My sisters are only 18, working basically 6 days a week. I am going out of town for a whole weekend, but to include them, we are going to do a nice dinner and some kind of fun activity: massages, pole dancing group class, or something else. Not sure, but there are tons of things that don't involve alcohol. I'd actually prefer to not drink. I'd rather do a water park or amusement park then go out drinking.

My MOH and I both drink. My FH is 23 but because we will most likely be at her parents house where she lives, alcohol is most likely out of the question. She doesn't work right now so we literally have no budget other than whatever money I can scrounge up after paying for my entire wedding.

Do you have any 18 and older clubs in your area? You can do something fun earlier that the 16 yr can partake in like a nice dinner/ hangout at someones house and maybe jusst drink there first. Then later on the older gals can go to the club and dance?

If nobody in your crowd is really into it i think the slumber party or paintbal thing is awesome. With the paintball your soon enough out so that you don't have to worry about any bruises or welts for the wedding!

Well we are planning on doing it maybe the week before the wedding. It's so hard to plan when you work for an Event Rental company because we get so busy! I don't want to do it now because I feel like that kinda defeats the whole purpose of a bachelorette party doesn't it?

We are going to spend a day on the lake my sister worded the invite something like bring your float your drinks and a side dish spend the day relaxing on the lake.

In my opinion all I want is a day to relax and chill with the girls what else is better than just floating all day.

As Zac Brown BAnd would say "Toes in the water Ass in the sand!"

All but two going to my bachelorette are over 21, but since I don't drink, we decided that we would have a fun night. We're going our to dinner and then going bowling. We figured it was fun activities and if someone wanted to drink, they could, and those of us who don't wont feel left out or like party poppers like we would if we went on a pub crawl

For my SIL bachelorette party she was pregnant and I was only 19, we had a girls day at the hotel with her other bms, we ate at a Mexican restaurant (some of her friends well over 21 drank) they had a live band so we enjoyed that then slumber party, movies candy and laughs. It was fun.

My girlfriend had a courthouse wedding that only included witnesses...but we wanted to do something nice and had a home based bachelorette party...that lasted until 430 in the morning....there was about 10 of us so I had a local supermarket make up a cake with the traditional black/pink bachelorette colors... bought a few favors and a dice game from the naughty store which turned out to be a very clean truth or dare game...we did have jello shots/wine...(keep in mind EVERYTHING was pink and black...the theme for the evening) but most of the wine didn't get drunk...we had such an amazing time just being girls without men around...it lasted until 430 in the morning..

Whatever you do...it will be fun because it's in celebration of your big day and YOU! sooooo...don't worry your pretty little head about it toooo toooo much...

My sis/MOH is only 19 so we're probably gonna do dinner somewhere we would never normally go (downtown, dressed up); she also suggested a hookah bar since no1s ever been, then hanging @ my house, no boys allowed! It might actually be better not to drink, if you have any lightweights, no one wants to either BE sick or take care of someone who's sick. =(

My friends bachelorette party last year, while we were all over 21, had other aspects than drinking for 3 days straight. We went to Sandusky, rode the boat to Put-in-Bay, had a beach picnic & on the last day, Cedar Point. Only our nights involved drinking =)

We did Paint Your Own Pottery in the afternoon and then went to a bar later. Even if this is at your MOH's parents' house, I'd still bring in a bottle of rum or vodka and just pour into coke or cranberry juice (stealthily)...if I was over 21, of course.
