Honestly from the front it does not look great and that is where most people will be focused and where pictures will be taken. I would reach out to her now and nicely address the concerns. I am not sure if it is more money but maybe get another trial on the hair.

I like the back, but I agree that the front is a little messy looking. I’d definitely reach out about your concerns. I’m not sure why a PP suggested extensions for volume, I don’t think you need them. If your real concern is just the front, see what suggestions your stylist can come up with to make it look more polished and hopefully achieve the look you’re imagining. If possible, you could do another trial, but that’s not always feasible.

The front looks messy which is not what you want for your wedding. I would convey what you liked and didn't like w/ the hair dresser and see her thoughts on how she could fix/improve it. I also agree w/ hair extensions for more volume would give you a fuller look. Also if you can try trials w/ other hair dressers! Sometimes it's just not a good fit and that's ok!

Blame it on family members and friends stating the front looked messy and any other concerns you have. That way it puts it on them and not you. You could always approach it like, now I’m overthinking it and just wanted to talk to you about it.

I would suggest looking at inspiration of front pictures you could provide her to show what you’d like instead. That way she has a solid idea of what to try next time so both the front and back are to your liking. I unfortunately had a similar experience with my hair person too, I gave her a pic of side braids and she didn’t think I wanted both sides like that so she did this weird volume puff thing on the non-braid side of my head and I was like “uhhh, what is this?” She said a lot of brides like the wispy look but I thought it looked like matted bed head. 🤷‍♀️ Now I know to be super specific from now on.

I love the back and I agree about the front being little less in place. I have those same areas on my head that curl and I always feel self conscious about them but my finance tells me he loves them the best. I haven't booked hair and make up yet for my November wedding in AZ and need to find someone if anyone knows of any recommendation they loved. I like Erin's suggestion and talk with your hair stylist about it.

You should definitely speak up! For some reason I'm always really shy when it comes to speaking up about my hair and makeup, but your vendors would rather your say something so they can improve your look and learn from your feedback! They don't know you aren't happy unless you say something.

I'd share these pictures and express some concern about the style holding all night, and see what she can change to make sure your hair that's down stays curled and how to style the front a little bit more!

I like the back, but agree that the front isn't right. I think you need more texture in the hair itself, and the flyaways need to be controlled or at least mimicking the texture elsewhere. Find some inspo pics to show her what you are going for.
