Hi Wedding Wire people!
My fiance and I are currently in the midst of being engaged for less than a month, so that means SCRAMBLING in ten different directions at once, lol. Anyway, we have our actual wedding venue ideas down pact but we can't seem to figure out a location for an engagement party. We don't want anything over the top or too fancy, not really into the idea of a banquet hall or anything similar. We're both artsy and creative people who want to do something that reflect who we are.
With that said, we want somewhere that is decently sized but kind of ~hip, for lack of better terms. We had been looking at some breweries that host private events but nothing clicked. I would love to do an restaurant that has some unique dishes and maybe an outdoor area but my fiance is also dying to have somewhere with room for dancing/a dance floor.
Anyone have any ideas where we could have this thing? We want to do it for May/June!
