Unique engagement rings?!?

Mine isn't real unique but I'm still in love with it! It's Vera Wang and he got it for a smoking deal!

Mine may not be as unique as others, although I think it is I happened to come across a single image online, and I didn't see another example like it. My fiance took the image and had it made by a local jeweler. The design was perfect -- I needed something flush since I knew I would knock it into things, and I wanted something clean and simple but with a bit of an unexpected twist. Mission accomplished!

I don't see very many ovals on this post so here's mine. It's not super unique, but it's sooo special to me.

Here's the side view. A hidden diamond on each side and a higher up setting I guess makes it a little more unique.

Nice to see all these lovely rings. Here's mine - a Euro cut that my FH and I designed ourselves with a matching band (not pictured here). Diamond is also my birthstone.

Gypsy set emeralds (lab created) in sterling silver. I read in one of my books on crystals and gems that emerald is a stone of true love and fidelity and immediately wanted it in my engagement ring. My FH went above and beyond with gypsy/flush setting so it wouldn't snag on yarn while I crochet

I love the unique color combinations many of your have come up with -- aquamarine and chocolate diamonds, ruby and black diamonds, and of course, one of my favorites, the Tudor rose engagement ring. I also love the sentimental value ascribed to many of your choices. The heirloom pieces are amazing -- and that 1930's art deco ring on Kiki's finger is gorgeous.

We looked at about 8 different stores before we found this and both fell in love with it!

It's both of our birthstones. I told him I wanted color and this is what he got me. I love my ring

Mine is Sapphire as the main stone with diamonds surrounding the stone. then down the sides are more sapphire & diamonds on each side. I love it! I have been engaged for a year & still cant help but stare at it! FH chose sapphire because it means loyalty... he wanted to have meaning behind it because we were together 8 & 1/2 years before he proposed.

He proposed through an engagement party with our families. I thought we were all getting together for a valentines dinner. This picture of my ring is sitting on a cake he had made for us. Made for excellent photo's & he got a photographer to take the shots.
