Unique Guest Book Ideas

We had our guests sign a photo mat in a frame, and later we put our favorite wedding picture in it. We didn’t think we’d ever look at a book again, but this hangs in our main hallway and makes me happy every time I walk by. I love the way it represents being surrounded by our friends and family that day.

We're planning to just do a traditional book. I made a sign asking guests to leave us advice or we'll wishes instead of just signing their name. I thought it would be fun to read while we're driving around for out mini moon!


I went to a wedding a couple years ago and they had guests sign a bench. My dad and stepmom got a large letter A for guests to sign and hu g that in their home

My husband loves sports so our guest "books" were a hockey jersey and a baseball jersey with our last name on it.

We are musicians and met due to our mutual love of music! I play drums and my fiancé plays guitar. We traced his favorite guitar and woodburned the details of it! All our guests will sign the guitar and we will hang in our home!

We are looking at doing the one with the Bible where they highlight and sign a verse or the jigsaw puzzle where they sign a piece, but one unique one I do like is the word search where they can search for their names in a big words search

We are doing a photo book for our guest book! Long story short, we have been engaged for 2 years and wanted to incorporate both our engagement photos from 2022 and new photos from 2024 (100 day photos!). We wanted to put all our favorites together and let our guests enjoy looking through all the photos while signing, leaving advice, and/or good wishes!

I loooooooove this idea and I am going to roll with the frame matting as well. I think this is very creative and a space saver because I know I won’t really look at a book again and it will become clutter.

I saw this somewhere, but we're putting little polaroid cameras around and asking people to take a photo of themselves, write their names (and a message if they want) on it, and put it in a box before they leave. We plan on putting them all in a polaroid photo album.
