Unique/Unusual Rings

We didn't have engagement rings at all. Our wedding rings were plain gold bands.

I have a sapphire ring too! Blue is my favorite color and sapphire is also my birthstone. I knew I wanted a sapphire ring for years, so when FH started talking about rings, I told him exactly what I wanted. ^_-

That is a gorgeous ring Star, I love the curves with the diamonds. I'm looking into getting a wrap for mine sort of similar to that for my wedding band.

My ring is actually a set with with wedding band fitting into it. Here's a pic of the original ring before all of the changes. The two stones on either side of the swirl are from the wedding band. We had those replaced with lighter blue sapphires. And yes, that's as far as I could get it onto my chubby finger, lol.

I'm still looking, wraps are harder to find. I like how your band fits with your engagement ring, it should look great with the sapphires too.

I had asked him for something diffrent I wanted A Green stone in the middle with 2 Brown stones in the side and in shape of Squares.

I looked online for months and showed him over and over.

I got 2 Brown stones on the side with a Pink stone in the middle and Circles!!!

I told him it will be forever engraved in stone he DIDN"T listen to me lol

This past Christmas he gave me his Credit card to go getthe ring I originaly wanted when i gotto the store I couldn't buy it and replace his..I love it now because when I look at it I justgiggle..i still harass himplaying around when I show it off lol

I'm gonna upgrade my ring eventually but I dunno. I love my ring now but I keep eying up a black onyx and diamond one. My ring now is cz and sterling silver.

Lol just today we were having coffee with Chris BM and he looked at my ring and was like "you know what I hate? I hate bitches!" then he went on about how one of the girls in one of his classes was wearing a green stoned ring on her left ring so he asked her if she had just gotten engaged and she said in a really snotty voice "no! this isn't a diamond"...it pissed him off and he was like "well my best friend gave his FS a Sapphire and it is beautiful"

I love my sapphire!

I can't show mine cause I am on my phone lol. But it's my profile picture. Its a pink heart surroned by diamonds. Five of the diamonds are from my deceased fathers stuff also the ring is from my all time show and manga sailor moon! Even though andrew thinks the show is lame and I'm a dork, he still got it for me

Mine is a pink sapphire, I love it.

I didn't want diamonds and I didn't want a separate wedding ring and engagement ring. I have a pretty active job so I also didn't want something that would be fragile or in the way. I decided on a moissanite anniversary band.

Wish there was a way to edit posts... I meant to say, I showed him several that I liked and he picked that one.

I didn't want to spend so much money for diamond ring that I wasn't going to be happy with and all of the diamond rings that we could afford weren't really me. I found a beautiful pink sapphire ring that I love!! Unfortunately, It couldn't be re-sized in store, so I have to wait to have it made from scratch.

I've got a diamond three stone right now, but i really want a yellow diamond... Love my ring now but in 10 years (DH keeps putting money in my original engagement ring savings account) I'm going to upgrade to the yellow diamond. They are just way to expensive. They have man made ones but DH is stubborn and says I have to have the 'real deal' but I would be happy with the man made... they are the same... here's a pic of what my ring will be but i'm thinking about baguette (?) diamonds instead of the 3 stone... we'll see if i change my mind... haha

Here is mine. Diamond center (his birthstone) , sapphire accents (my birthstone) and the swirls on the side! I love it! It pretty much became our theme for the wedding.

I knew from day 1 that I didn't want a diamond--I have ethical problems with those and I just don't really like them (I like colors). I ended up with a big sapphire flanked by diamond chips and filigree sides. I love it!

All of these rings are absolutely stunning !

I really wanted a Wedding band with Black Diamonds, but it didn't go with my engagement ring at all
