Unity candle outdoors with hurricane vase?

Has anyone seen unity candles done at an outdoor wedding inside hurricane holders to prevent being blown out? How’d it go? Also, silly question but is it okay to use a regular light to light the candles? From my understanding, mother of the bride and groom lights the candle at the beginning. Then we would light the unity candle. I was thinking they’d all be in bottomless glass hurricane/vases until ready, we can gather around to block the wind if there is any.

We are getting our holders custom made

I don’t know, it’s seven minutes this out. That’s why I was wondering about hurricane glass holders with open bottoms.

I was thinking the same thing. My mother bought us unity candles but we're having an outside ceremony. I need some kind of blocker too even a slight breeze will blow out the candles.

Hi all,

I found this unity candle ceremony outdoors with hurricane glasses on YouTube! I think outdoors would be fine if it was a small breeze but if it were windy then I think I would likely move it indoors anyway lol. Because mine is fall, might be cooler.
