Unity ceremony ideas?

What is everyone doing for your unity portion of the ceremony. In our area I've only seen unity candles, unity sand or a 3 rope tying ceremony so I'm curious as to what other things are out there! What cute things have you seen before that are different and out of the norm?! TIA!

We're trying to do the tree ceremony. FH and I love hiking and love the outdoors so it would fit well for us. Google tree unity ceremony for more info on it!

We are doing glass shards from unity glass and then having a glass piece blown out of our wedding colors. It's really neat google it!

After I posted I realized several people are too! So awesome!

We are doing a unity candle because we didn't want to do sand or anything too complicated. We decided against sand because we went to my cousins wedding and they accidentally spilled sand everywhere and it wasn't the easiest to clean up.

We are doing an anniversary box as well. We are writing letters to each other, we will put them in the box with a bottle of wine, and lock it. Our officiant will hold onto the key (he is my BIL) until our first anniversary.

We do a lot of the 'wine and words', a lot of unity glass (though we don't use the company; it's very easy to DIY at a third of the cost..) Tequila sharings, Black and Tan pourings, sushi sharings, chocolate ceremonies, honey sharings and in one notable case, a Manhattan blending..

On the red/white wine thing? I would do a test run on that because as feasible as it sounds, it may taste totally awful, and anyone in audience who actually knows wine will be cringing. Not that it should really matter to you if you want to do it, but IRL, it's just not done.

Whatever you pick it should have something to do with you, not just be some random thing. In essence, your whole ceremony is a unity ceremony.

Unity Cross. The reading will go over the wife, the husband protecting and then the Trinity.
