Unity sand ceremony for blended family

Andrea, on May 23, 2015 at 8:29 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4

I have two boys and my fiancé has two girls. We will be doing a unity sand ceremony at our ceremony. I wanted to just use the three colors of the wedding by doubling up the colors per person but my sister says that the we would be defeating the purpose of the ceremony. Any opinions/thoughts

I agree with her. Pick a color for each one of you that reflects your personalities.

I some what agree. I think 4 colors would be good. Boys pick a color and so do the girls.

Oh but perhaps you should give them half the amount of yours so it doesn't over power yours and fh color.

We are also doing a family sand ceremony. The FH and I have 5 kids between us. We let each child pick their own color and we will be using sand from the beach where he proposed. We are also topping it with white sand to represent God in our marriage Smiley smile
