Unplugged Ceremony

We had a sign that was right by the ceremony seating and our officiant also made the announcement. From what people told me, everyone put their phones away. We haven't gotten all of our photos back yet, but the ones I've seen didn't have any phones in them.

We are going to have a sign then the dj and/or officiant announce it at the beginning before we walk down the aisle.

I went to a wedding weeks ago that had a giant sign, wrote it on their programs too, and had the officiant say it before the wedding parties walked in. And it wasn’t followed unfortunately not every person will listen but a lot will at least.

We have a sign that will be up at the entrance to our venue, and plan on having our officiant make an announcement about it before the ceremony also.

We'll see how it works.

A friend's officiant just made a statement before the ceremony last summer and I don't recall seeing anyone disregarding that.

We’re putting it on the website, having a sign, and asking the officiant to make an announcement.

We will have the sign, the officiant make the announcement and I am putting an insert in our invites as well.
