Up & Down

Does your wedding emotions go up and down? One week/month I'm full force forward with wedding planning, attire, weight loss. The next week/month I cannot seem to get excited about wanting to do anything. I am currently in a low week, I've been second guessing my dress, my weight, my veil, my hair color. The downside to eloping is having no MOH or bridesmaid to keep you going. I was suppose to pick up my dress today but cancelled because I just can't find the motivation. Last couple weeks I was killing it with the wedding planning, got my spreadsheets up to date, paid off some more things, bought some more decor for our celebration party and now I have feel like I have hit a brick wall.

Everyone feels that way, it’s an exciting time but it’s still work, meanwhile feeling the pressure to look our best. Wedding planning is exhausting! You’re not alone, just go at your own pace. I’m so sick of looking at all my wedding stuff, I’ve been putting off even touching it. I’m going to suck it up and just finish my projects this week. Hot glueing wedding crap is utterly mind numbing, wine will be my best friend lol
Remember you’re still happy and excited, you’re just feeling burn out and it’s ok!

I have definitely been going through they ups and downs with all the wedding planning and the stress that comes along with it. Sometimes I'm extremely happy that our wedding is in a month and at other times I have a total panic attack because I worry no one will have a good time or I'm stressed about finances. I struggle with finding motivation to do a lot of things with the wedding. I'm currently stressed/stuck on the music portion and have to get the paper work over to the DJ ASAP. Everything has been so stressful.

It’s totally normal to feel like this, Miosotys. Wedding planning can be super overwhelming! It’s important to mind yourself and not burn out.

I recommend you take a couple of days away from wedding planning. Unplug from it altogether, no speaking or thinking about it. Most importantly, please don’t feel guilty or beat yourself up for having one! You deserve a break Smiley heart
