Dress fitting today 👰 and meeting with the florist next month 💐

Loved cake tasting which I didn’t think either of us would care for. I have my first alterations on Wednesday!!! (Still have to find shoes AHHHH) which I’m kinda nervous about because I was super fit when I bought my dress and haven’t been working out/eating well so nervous how it’ll fit, and actually excited for the bridal shower. It’s going to be amazing seeing everyone again. I was uncomfortable with opening gifts in front of everyone, but am looking forward to being surrounded by loved ones.

Booked my first dress appointment for early September to start trying on dresses! My MOH is flying in from AZ (I'm in IL) so super excited for that!!!

This weekend is super exciting for us! Yesterday I had my final fitting & brought home the dress! Tomorrow we have our final meeting with our month of coordinator followed by our joint wedding shower. We are 40 days away!!

When i was engaged i was really looking forward more to the honeymoon LOL i think because the logistics of planning the wedding made me just wanna get that over with but i love to travel so the honeymoon was for sure exciting to me

I had the cake tasting (awesome) now looking forward to bachelorette in September. I’m really looking forward to spending time alone on our honeymoon with my husband. Planning is starting to get to me.

We're kind of in a planning lull right now with our date being just over a year away and most of the bigger things already planned. So right now the next big thing I'm looking forward to is engagement pictures which we're doing in late october or early november (just have to confirm a date with our photographer).
