Are the carriages and castles going to be on separate tables? I don't think it will matter if the color matches perfectly. To be honest, I can't really tell that one is darker than the other in the picture.

They're going on separate tables right? They don't need to be the same colour. I think the colour looks fine. Are you putting something in that little circle or doing anything else besides the lights around it? It just feels like it needs a little more. Like ivy or something on the bottom, and weave the lights into the towers if you can.

Unless they're the same metal/material, they won't look the same color no matter how many coats you spray. Different materials react to and absorb paints differently.

Yes they will be on separate tables. The little circles are for tea-light candles. Around the outside of the base will be fairy lights. Hmmm maybe I can try weaving the lights instead.

I definitely think you should alternate the centerpieces. No one will ever notice the color difference, I know I sure can't tell! I really hope you post a BAM because this looks awesome.

I think these are adorable honestly. Where did you get the castles? From a picture stand point the paint doesn't look bad at all. How much light will be in your reception hall? If it is dimly lit people wont be able to tell. I second what someone else said about adding some greenery and stringing the lights up the tower. That could be cute. Michaels has lights on sale right now. I don't think the different tone of silver will matter if they are on different tables. It would actually add some color dimension to your centerpieces which is a good thing.

I purchased them from stumps party. The reception hall will have dim lights with wall drapery and up lighting. I will try to string lights up the towers. Stay tuned ;-)

Neat idea! I think if there are on separate tables you should be fine. No one should be comparing the 2 different centerpieces side by side.

Very cute! And I will second what @Van Pear said, adding a little ivy would be really cute! Can you imagine those little castles in real life, made of stone with ivy crawling up the sides? I think it would add such a romantic touch

Wow - adorable!! Stop worrying about the color, no one is going to scrutinize them like you are. I agree to add ivy or some flowers and they will really be romantic! Post a pic of the carriages all lit up too - so cute!!
