Thanks to Covid we moved our Summer wedding to December. We were able to exchange bridesmaids dresses to darker tones and I even bought them some cute shawls to wear over their shoulders.
We were originally using Magnolia’s in our decor as I love the timeless look of the flower. Luckily, we found a way to “winterize” our summer wedding and I’m thrilled to share the update!!
Our 7 guest tables will utilize the bridesmaids bouquets as the floral centerpiece that will be placed in vases during cocktail hour and after photos. My florist is working on those and they are shown later in this post.
We will have two tables our wedding party will be split across will utilize candles instead of a floral centerpiece.
We had to scrap our long “King’s Table” due to Covid spacing and are now having a sweetheart table in front of a fireplace in our reception room. We just need to add tapered candles to the candleholders to complete this look. I will also be carrying a pagent style bouquet so it will be displayed in front of our table as well.
This is our bouquet inspiration as well as ceremony decor inspiration from our florist. We are now loving our new winter wedding look!! Our ceremony space also has a fireplace so our florist will build a mantle piece using similar materials to our bouquets to add more to our ceremony decor and then repurpose this mantle piece around our cake table as the mantle in the reception room is too narrow for a full piece.
Just wanted to share!!! 43 days until our big day!!
