updating your FB relationship status

That is just crazy. I just got around to changing mine.

Hahhaha! i will probable do it after my ceremony before the reception--if I beg my MOH enough to pass me my phone! Hahahah!

I'll do mine that night probably. But, come on........im not even going to have my phone with me during the wedding.

I'm giving my phone to a BM during the whole day (suggested by another bride). This way I am able to enjoy my day and not get caught up in checking my FB which will waste 10 minutes that I will want to cherish I'll change mine after the honeymoon I'm sure.

Lolol...you know what's even funnier...if you don't do it in a certain amount of time...people ask why haven't you done it?? like it's the barometer for your relationship...SMH

I think I'm gonna get rid of my facebook altogether....tired of knowing too much about some people and people knowing too much about me...it's like nothing is sacred anymore....it's getting old :/

I'll probobly do mine as soon as we leave the reception, I'm a phoneaholic so I'm telling my MOH to take my phone and don't let me have it lol

Yeahhhh I don't know about that. I don't think that I will have my phone on me after the ceremony starts! I want to enjoy every moment! Probably the next morning it will be the first thing I do! It's just kinda of fun to announce it publicly but I can't see me doing it the day of!

It's a little sad the way people constantly feel the need to update their Facebook account while they're out doing things... it's even sadder when it's on their wedding day! I don't even have a Facebook account, so I can't really relate.

Um yeah, no. I stuck my phone in a corner of the hotel room at 9am on my wedding day and didn't even plug it in again until Monday afternoon when we were heading to the airport.

Yardie do you have any idea how difficult it is to delete your FB account? One of my friends just deleted hers and it seriously took her HOURS. They don't make it very easy. I've been thinking about deleting my FB page too. Honestly I rarely use it, and people send me messages there that I never check which makes them mad at me. The only time I really like FB is when my OOT friends post photos of their babies I haven't met yet. Nobody emails photos anymore, I have to go on FB to see anything.

I've actually seen video of a couple getting married... and actually changing their FaceBook status DURING the ceremony.

If my job didn't block YouTube... I'd look for it and post. A bit ridiculous if you ask me.

I will probably update mine that night after everything is over or the next morning. but who knows, i am addicted to my phone (i will admit it lol) so if i end up going to our room at some point then i may sneak it in

I think it's acceptable to change it the day after... and after you consummate your marriage! Not DURING the day.

My MOH had my phone from the moment I saw her that day until she left me that evening. Btw, I HIGHLY suggest doing this! I think we both updated ours that night when we got our phones back.

That's nuts. I'm anti-facebook. I just don't understand the thrill.

If I have the chance to do it because of downtime during dinner, I might. Mostly I don't want to deal with trying to change my status over the phone.

LOL! that is to funny. I know I would be busy all day and just enjoying my day to do that right away!! I would change it the day after or after we got back from the HM.

But I did it later that night. We ended up "Falling asleep" lol but I woke up in the wee hours of the morning to get a drink and changed it really quick and went back to bed....

Ha ha ha! This is too funny! I dont think that I will have my phone with me during the ceremony and reception but I will probably do it the next day! You have been waiting your whole life for your wedding so updating your name and status is fun.
