Updo for thin, fine hair

Laura, on June 21, 2019 at 5:43 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 1 15
I’ve looked all over Pinterest and can’t find any pics that look like they’re my hair’s texture or (lack of) thickness. Does anyone have suggestions? I’d do half up half down but we’ll be on the beach, it’ll be hot and I know I’ll want my hair off my neck.

This is how I will be doing my hair. I have very thin hair also so I will have to get extensions but I found some on Amazon for $30 I will probably never wear them again, I just need them to help my hair look fuller.

I also have thin, fine hair as well and I'm planning on a complete up do, my hair stylist said it was possible since I have a lot of hair its just really fine. I would suggest talking to your hair stylist and seeing what is possible.

I love that style! I have no idea where or how to buy extensions though. Where do you start? I assume I want them before I get my hair colored on my HMU trial day so they match?

Those are pretty but a little more complicated than what I’m looking for I think. I kind of what to keep it simple. Just a classy, slightly messy updo that won’t take three hours to accomplish.

I don't mind only because this will be the only time I'll probably ever get my hair professionally styled and I get a break from my kids lol

I have fine hair that falls completely flat and my hairstylst said we will try a couple of tricks. 1. She can put a hair donut in the middle of an updo to add some volume. 2. She has a thickening cream she can put in. 3. If these don't do the trick at my trial, she will take me to pick out extensions. I would talk to your stylist about these options and if you are considering extensions, I would ask her for suggestions and when you need them.

I have very fine, thin hair. I am having my hair done in a low, loose, chignon bun. I’m adding extensions to give my hair extra body.

Thank you! The ones I got are real human hair that are as close to my hair color but can be dyed to match if needed. I would recommend the human hair extensions just because you can wash, style, color, and apply heat if needed and it wont damage the extensions.

My stylist said the best place to get clip in, natural hair extensions is Sally’s... they cost about $100 but they are totally worth it!

$100? Wow. This wedding gets more expensive by the day!
