Updo vs hair down

I decided to do half up and half down

I went with an updo for my wedding because I wanted my hair to look different than what it looked like when I was maid of honor in my brother's wedding four months prior to mine. For his wedding, I went with half up and half down.

I wore my hair in a low bun.

Still to be decided - I almost always wear my hair tied back, so I'd like to wear it down for my wedding, but since my wedding is in the middle of summer, it'll likely frizz right away, so I'll probably do an updo or half up/half down.

Mostly down. Some hidden updo-ness to hold my flower vine, but I added extensions so it looked down

For the minimony I am doing an updo, for the big one I will probably do half up half down, I always wear my hair up so I think I should try to wear some of it down when everyone is there so I can show it off haha.

Hair down. I love my hair and felt that it looked nice

I think it depends on your dress style, you want your hair and veil (if wearing) to compliment you, not be the show stealer. And definitely try a couple of styles and try with dress if you can.

I went for an updo since I got married on the beach and was worried about wind and heat.

Updo, low bun because the weather was super hot and I couldn't stand the thought of having hair on my neck.

I did a chignon bun. I wanted to show off the back of my dress!

Low bun! My dress has sleeves and the neckline comes up to the collarbone so I want all the details to be shown.

I was planning on doing an updo due to heat but the forecast says it is only supposed to be 86 on my wedding day so I will a half up half down hair style and put it in a low bun if it gets to hot.
