Uplighting: Yay or Nay

How does everyone feel about uplighting? Worth the cost or not really? Our DJ offers uplighting for $250, but I'm unsure if it really adds to the atmosphere or is just a waste of money. My colors are navy, coral and gold, so I'm guessing I would have to go with coral for the lighting. Do you think...

How does everyone feel about uplighting? Worth the cost or not really? Our DJ offers uplighting for $250, but I'm unsure if it really adds to the atmosphere or is just a waste of money.     This is something we went back and forth on for a while. At the end of the day, we decided we would rather spend more money on the more important vendors than get the uplighting and I'm glad we made that decision. It didn't bother me one bit that it wasn't there and the room was well decorated and had the perfect ambiance without it.

    ALWAYS DO LIGHTING!!! Its the biggest WOW factor for the least amount of money!!!! Your guests will be amazed and photographers love it!
