Upset - wedding party venting

We postponed our wedding from October to this May so that people can attend. As all of you know, it’s very difficult to plan a wedding to start with Bc there are dj, photographer, venue, etc. involve, so we will not be changing our date again especially the vendors charge extra for postponing. Anyway, so my groom’s whole family is from out of state and he doesn’t have any friends so all of his GMs are family. We went from 4 GMs to 2 which was fine, and this 1 GM kept telling us he’s coming for sure. Now, he’s telling us he’s not coming so it’s a pain Bc I have 4 BMs. I could have one of the BMs (his sister) stand by his side if he told us earlier Bc she just ordered the dress in BM color. I guess I am just venting as this whole pandemic causes so many problems.

It will be fine. She could still stand on his side. My brother was my bride's man and he wore the same out of as the groomsmen and my husband's female was a groomswoman and she wore the same dress as the bridesmaids. Or you could just have uneven sides.

I totally agree with Veronica. Have his sister stand on his side. The color of her dress doesn’t matter. It will all still look uniform.

Honestly, I’m at the point where it’s like who even cares about bridal parties. After being on this form long enough it just seems like more trouble than it’s worth for most people. Have the time people that get picked to be in the bridal party seem like they don’t even care that the couple is getting married at all. I think in the next 20 years bridal parties will be a thing of the past hopefully. I mean when I think about it in reality I really don’t need any “moral support “to marry the love of my life lol

My girls have been super supportive with 2 drop out which is fine. However, the guys are like don’t seem to care. I guess at the end of the day, it will be fine.

Just have her stand on his side if you want. Colors are your wedding colors so it doesn't matter a at all where they are placed.
