Ushers at Head Table?

Jazmin, on February 6, 2019 at 1:29 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Do ushers typically sit at the head table with the bridal party?
A little background, my sister is our usher. I gave her the choice of being a bridesmaid or an usher and that's what she preferred. She's not one for dresses and standing up in front of people, but is great in one on one conversation and knows most of the people attending (even grooms side).
I've never been to a wedding where the ushers sat at the head table I don't think, but I feel like she might feel left out if she isn't with us, since she's the only wedding party member that isn't a bridesmaid/groomsman. So would it be weird to have her there?

I've never personally heard of that but if you want her to sit with you then go ahead! I don't think there would be anything weird about it especially considering that she's your sister.

Ushers don’t typically sit at the bear table, but it’s your choice.

We sat our with their families. My brother with my parents, his brother with his parents (so they were both also with their dates) and his cousin with his wife and kid. Do what works for your situation!

Thanks for clearing things up a bit everyone 😊 I think I'll just have her sit with us, that way no one's feelings get hurt
