Ushers vs. Bridesmaids

I was having a bad day at work.. but then... Mrs. Sasswood happened. I need you at my job to tell people how it is. But.. The robes.. I'd save your money. I just don't see the point in them. I honestly don't even think they look all that grand in pictures. Wedding I was in, we had tanks that said Maid of Honor.. I'd rather walk around in sweats/yoga pants and tank top than a robe.

Thank you @Lela I was just concerned with shirts about their hair with pulling it over our heads. Also, they are not getting $5 robes I am purchasing for photos - they have other gifts that I am giving nothing that says bridesmaids/MOH or any of that. Those gifts are always a waste - just personalizing with their names if anything.

I will say I looked at your venue and it does appear to have the potential for a black tie event.

But I will also say that I don't think it's OK at all to do what you did to your friends because of the way you wanted your pictures to look. Not at all.

Exactly. I assume you must've used wiki because your understanding of black tie is inaccurate.

I get that people would be upset but these girls are not upset at all. They are happy, very happy. They are 2 of the most outspoken people so trust me if they were upset they would have said so.

I agree with m. What's the big deal. Are your photos with the full bridal party going to be put above your bed or something?

They'll be in the photo album and if it bothers you so much just don't look at the page.

Your friends' feelings are so much more important than photos.
