Using garland for an aisle border?

The tripping problem often is seen as a safety violation especially in case of the need for an emergency exit. I don't know if it were better if maybe three food lengths were laid down instead of longer lengths.

Flowers or leaves might be okay for outside. It depends on what the venue permits. too much of any of these could cause a floor to be slippery though. You may not really need to do this sense people will be either be getting to their seats or will be watching the ceremony.

If you want something decorative for the aisle/ceremony area, what about floral chair ties? Or I’ve seen some people make their centerpiece decor and put it on the aisle for the ceremony and ask wedding party/close family helpers to bring them back to their original tables.
I do love the garland idea though, there could be ways to make it work and be safe as well!
