Using pre made flower bouquet from store?

Maria, on January 23, 2021 at 11:55 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 3
Hi, I’ve seen other discussions about buying flowers from grocery stores for diy boutiques. I’m wondering what if I got a pre made bouquet from Whole Foods or Costco, cleaned up the leaves on the stems, and just wrap the bottom in ribbon? I’ve always loved Whole Food’s big beautiful bouquets and they’re only like 30$. This way it’s not a total diy because I can see the finished product at the store before buying it and it would have all the diverse flowers in it. I’m thinking I could buy 3 of the same bouquets, use one for my bridal one, and split the other 2 into 3 smaller versions for my bridesmaids.. Is this a crazy idea?? Here’s an example of a Costco bouquet that matches my colors it’s 40$. Thank you for any advice! Using pre made flower bouquet from store? 1

That’s not a bad idea - I think the only issue is are you able to get certain bouquets and in that amount you need? For instance maybe ask if you can preorder them and have them set aside for you ?

I don't think it's a crazy idea at all. If Costco/Whole Foods have the flowers you want, I say go for it! You do run the risk of the store carrying the flowers you want now but not around your wedding date though. I would just make sure to try get them to as close to day of as possible.

That’s a fabulous idea! Contact the store about when you would have to preorder it so you can put it in your planning checklist. How long do they hold up?
