Using qr codes for the rsvp

Bria, on February 15, 2022 at 11:08 PM Posted in Planning 0 2

Hello everyone, I am trying to figure out how to incorporate this wording in to my RSVP QR code for my quest to only RSVP for the allowed # of quest on their Enclosure card. I have an example from another forum and wanted to use this.

We have reserved ____ seats in your honor. Please scan the QR code to RSVP for the guest allowed. A plated dinner will be served during the reception. If we do not hear from you by August 24, 2022, we will mark you as Not Attending and your seat will not be reserved." (I will write that # in the blank before sending the card out) Can anyone help with this and if this sounds good or not please. Thank you

I think that sounds just fine. Wouldn't change anything.

I would just modify the third sentence and write, "please reply by August 24, 2022". Most know they cannot show up without notifying the host of attendance. But, I guess it depends on your guestlist-- do you think persons may show up without an rsvp?

Also, I think you have time before sending out formal invitations. If not a destination wedding, invites should go out closer to 4-6 weeks before the wedding so persons don't forget. You can mail, email, text a Save the Date much earlier. Your venue will provide you with a final, final guest count so they can supply enough meals, often 1-2 weeks before wedding. Best wishes.
