va Brides: Any cheap florist recommendations?

I live in Virginia Beach and was able to find a wholesale florist (Norfolk Wholesale Florist)

My bouquet came out to $150 for the ceremony one and one extra to use for the bouquet toss. Each bridesmaid bouquet was $35. This was using roses and greenery, I'm sure it would have been much cheaper if I used other flowers.

We also ordered Italian ruscus for the arch decoration that came out to be $11/bundle.

if you are interested in DIYing your bouquets, you could certainly start looking into wholesalers that sell flowers in bulk. Are you hoping to have fresh flowers, or have you considered artificial flowers?

I’m using Blue Herron Farm DIY buckets for our wedding. It’s $50 a bucket and you could make a few bouquets out of one. We ordered 4 buckets for our centerpieces and flowers around the venue and are having them make my bouquet and the boutonnières & corsages for family members. They are out near Nelson County.
