Vacuums and Robots

Hey all! What normal vacuum brands and styles have been reliable for you? Also, any recommendations for our rumba style vacuum (we will use that to help keep up with dog hair)? Thanks!!!

I have a SEBO vacuum. They are expensive but worth it. I do not like bagless vacuums personally.

I have a Eureka brand vacuum. I'm not sure of the model, but it's a pet hair one. I've had it about 4 years and it still runs like new. We vacuum twice a week just to be sure there's not masses of dog hair, my hair (haha), dirt, etc in the carpet. I'd love a roomba, but not in my budget right now Smiley tongue

I LOVE our vacuum cleaner. It’s a Miele canister vacuum. My FH bought it in a fit of vacuum frustration after our original one died in a puff of smoke. It’s expensive but I have to change the bag like once a year and it captures everything.

We have this robot vacuum: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F8ZQDSZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And it's literally a dream! We run it twice a week downstairs, it does so well with dog hair. It got stuck once underneath our couch but other than that it works super well and always goes back to it's charging port at the end. We have a very fluffy dog that sheds 24/7 so it's nice to have the help of vacuuming 2-3 times a week. It takes about an hour to vacuum our entire downstairs (probably 1,000 sf).

This is the vacuum on our registry: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005KMDV9A?colid=QXHIDVLMAH0Y&coliid=I1N5V39MO795QR&ref_=hit_wr_dt_vr_md_pt

We don't have a standard vacuum since we have all hardwood, but we have the Roomba 690 and would highly recommend it! We bought it in 2017 and it has been a lifesaver. No pets though, so I can't comment on that.

I have the dyson and it’s great! We are also looking into a roomba to help us out a bit we have 2 dogs that she’d like crazy after 3 days on not vacuuming you can see clumps of hair gathering in the corners of the house. If you go to their website you can fill out a small questionnaire and will tell you which one is best for your needs

Same! I swear by everything Shark! We have a dog who sheds like no dog I've ever seen and this thing is a total workhorse and hasn't lost suction at all over the years. I've had Hoover and Eureka and neither has done the job my Shark does or lasted as long!

I also love their floor steamer, sonic duo floor scrubber, iron... The only thing I didn't like from them was their cordless floor sweeper.
