Valentine's Day gift ideas?

Marina, on February 11, 2020 at 6:31 AM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 13

I have NO idea about what to give my FH as a Valentine's day gift. He is a photographer, so maybe some equipment would be good? Any ideas, links or pictures would be appreciated greatly.

I struggle with gifts for my fiancé too, I feel like guys can be so hard to shop for! Does he have a favorite type of drink? Mine likes whiskey so I was thinking about getting him a nice bottle or some new glasses or something and a card. But equipment does sound nice though! Maybe even a camera bag or a new strap? I’m sure he will love whatever you get him!

Yeah, sometimes it is next to impossible!

I thought about his favorite wine but he is doing a dry February so idk. The equipment is a best of my ideas so far but I don't know a single thing about photography and all these things. Gotta google something.

I honestly wouldn't recommend you to look for some equipment because the choice may be different even for a professional photographer. You can get him some editing software, for example Photoworks is a good photo editor with a reasonable price.

But better stay away from the professional stuff and get him something cure yet useful: a pair of gloves, the scarf or something else. Might be good for a photographer too if he is into outdoor shootings!

What about a little portable printer? This one is $99 at Walmart, and it prints Polaroid pictures. Not sure if it’s his style or if he has one already but thought it might make a cute gift!

I personally prefer to give experiences over physical gifts. Is there an event that he wants to go to, a concert or a sporting event?

We agreed to opt out of Valentines Day gifts this year. We're paying for a wedding so that's the gift. lol We're going to buy a box of chocolates and eat it while drinking a bottle of wine and watching a chick flick... my kind of night Smiley xd

Maybe a nice framed photo of something he took a picture of?

Hi Marina, I was thinking about valentines day gifts for my husband and I asked him what he may like. Our 1 year anniversary of being married is in March, 2020 and we were planning on taking another vacation to a different part of Mexico, we went to Cancun for our honeymoon and loved it. We decided that we would push back our 1 year anniversary vacation and instead bundle it up with our b-days and go to Europe at the end of August. We booked our flights and Airbnbs, we're going to Rome, Italy and then to Barcelona, Spain and will be in each country for about a week. I purchased some activities for us to do in Rome and will give him those for v-day, another activity for his b-day and together we will fill the gaps. Having a vacation to look forward to is super exciting but when you add activities, airport transfers, etc. and other things ahead of time and are paid off then they're more enjoyable.
