Vegas Bachelorette Party

Jessica, on October 7, 2019 at 1:21 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 5
My fiance and I own a Timeshare in Las Vegas, we live in Kentucky, and I was thinking of having my bachelorette party out there. Any tips on how to have a destination bachelorette party?

You shouldn't be the one planning your bachelorette party. If the host asks what you prefer, you can mention that you'd like to have it in Vegas, but it really depends on what everyone attending can afford.

I'm planning it because I'm having a destination wedding in Ireland and we are eloping, so I don't have Bridesmaids. I may not be having a traditional wedding, but I want Bachelorette party.

I think this depends on your friend group. Personally I’d never fly across the country for a bachelorette party.

I would consult your bridesmaids about budget & time! I had my bachelorette in Palm Springs, CA and 6/9 bridesmaids came. One of them came from Arizona, so she drove about 6 hours. My MOH flew in from San Francisco (1 hour flight). The other 4 bridesmaids drove (3 of them drove 2 hours, one drove 1 hour). My other 3 bridesmaids couldn't make it, they live in Colorado, South Dakota & Wisconsin so they couldn't afford it which was totally fine. I understood and there really wasn't a location I could pick that would make it work for everyone since they all had to travel to Colorado (besides 1) for the wedding. I've flown to CA from CO for bachelorette parties, I think it's totally fine! But again, it just depends on the girls!

I did a destination bachelorette party since everyone lived in 4 different states (I moved across the country 2 years ago) so my MOH and I picked a central place for everyone that was affordable and ended up doing Vegas. It was so much fun and all but one person was able to make it due to a scheduling conflict. We gave the girls a heads up 5 months in advanced with anticipated cost so they could say yes/no and budget. We also had my bachelorette party 6 months before my wedding and my bridal shower a month before my wedding (I switched the order) and it worked out perfectly for us
