Vegas Bound -: What's your plans?

Congratulations! I think Vegas weddings are sooooooo much fun! We had actually planned to elope to Vegas this Fall, just us and another couple; but plans have changed and we are doing a different location now. We were going to do an afternoon (gotta get those golden hours photos!) ceremony at the Sure Thing Chapel, where female Elvis was going to marry us. We had originally wanted the Little White Chapel, but I kept hearing horror stories about it, and finally asked our photographer his opinion, and he verified the stories were true (and added even more!), so we just forfeited the money there and booked at Sure Thing (photographer’s suggestion for the best chapel in Vegas). We were then going to take fun photos around the area and end the photography session getting little commemorative tattoos (there’s a tattoo shop right by the chapel). Then we were going to treat our friends to a $$$ dinner and a show! We had planned to stay another 3 days after the wedding, as sort of a little mini moon.

Are you planning on wearing a traditional wedding dress? Or are you going to do something more funky and Vegas inspired?

Alex and I were set to go to a formal wedding last fall. I bought a beautiful burgundy, mermaid style gown and he has a new suit with matching burgundy vest and accessories. So, I'm wearing burgundy. Guests can wear what they want....I just requested no tshirts or sweats. His sister and hubby were to go to the same wedding. They'll be showing up in formal attire. It's Vegas. Wear what you want.... mostly.
