Hi Everybody!! Who’s getting married is Vegas or did get married in Vegas? Did you love it? Where’s your venue and any advice? My fiancé and I are going to go Vegas to look at venues. Some tips would be great!

I am in a similar situation as you Lisa, not sure where to eat. So I can have my own in suite champagne reception? - no1 will stop my guests entering the suite?

    Hi,

I'm planning a Las Vegas wedding! I live in CO and most of my family lived in CA, so Vegas seemed to be the easiest and most affordable. It's honestly been pretty easy to plan! My wedding is April 27, 2019.

The most difficult part was finding a chapel big enough to host my guests. I have about 100 people attending and I didn't want a formal venue--I preferred a chapel on the strip since it seemed like the easiest option for my guests.

I chose the chapel in Excalibur and I'm hosting a dinner after the ceremony at Buca Di Beppo which is in the same hotel. Booking through Excalibur, I get a discount code for all MGM hotels to share with my guests, spa discount, buffet passes, discount cabana rentals and a few other things as well.

I hired a wedding photographer outside of the venue because they packages for photography provided through the venue are a total ripoff. I found her on Facebook and she was super easy to work with.

Feel free to reach out if there's anything specifically you need. I've been doing this for months now! Lol

Were getting married at the sugar factory. We wanted something fun but close to the strip. For 45 people with beer and wine, photography, etc., we spent just under 5k. Not too bad. I’ll let you know in a week how it goes. Haha.

Going to get married at Little Chapel on the Corner in Henderson, then going to do a reception at Layla's Palace at tropicana and Pecos. She has some really great deals for venue pricing and includes food, cake, waiting staff, security, music and DJ, and lots of other things. Smiley smile

I think it will depend on your hotel. We hosted our own in suite reception and had zero issues with guests coming into our suite and we had about 50-60 people.

We didn't tell the hotel we were catering ourselves lol we just brought it in because the price was insane for the minimum and we couldn't reach it no matter how we worked the numbers. We brought our own liquor and food and didn't have any issues.
