Vegas honeymoon, Cosmo vs Bellagio

Cosmo pools are lacking? They are the top pools on the strip. Mandalay Bay also has nice pools, places to eat, and shows there.

I stayed at the Monte Carlo and really enjoyed it. It was a beautiful hotel and the restaurants inside were fabulous. We went to the Bellagio and gambled and it was also beautiful inside. I'm not sure about the rooms though.

I stayed at the Cosmopolitan and LOVED it. It's beautiful and feels "young." I have never stayed at the Bellagio, but, while also beautiful, it felt a little old and stuffy to me. If I had a choice, I would definitely choose the Cosmopolitan again.

The Cosmo is my dream hotel. I would definitely stay there. It feels more updated and has a younger vibe. I think the Bellagio is gorgeous to walk through and visit, but I don't have a desire to stay there.

Stay at the one with the waterslide that is surrounded by a shark aquarium!

Cosmopolitan. They have a "party" pool and also a smaller, quieter pool if you want to chill out. However, for what I can remember (haven't been back in a few years), the quiet pool doesn't get as much sun, if that's your thing.

Bellagio is nice to visit but I find it gets super crowded and there's always a ton of kids running around. The Cosmo skews "young" but I personally prefer that energy.

I stayed at the Bellagio for a bachelorette party once and I felt like it wasn't worth the price. Sounds like there are better options.

I've always stayed at Aria in the same "City center complex" as Cosmo and it is nothing shy of amazing. I would certainly choose Cosmo!

We stayed at the Cosmo for my bachelorette and it was awesome! The rooms are really nice and feel fairly new, and the whole hotel has a great young vibe.

I've also stayed at the Paris hotel and the Venetian. While the Venetian is less central on the strip it's really awesome and there's so much to do just within the hotel!

There are definitely articles online ranking the pools in Vegas!

Shop around a little there are a lot of great places to stay there. I have only been to Vegas in mid summer when it was really hot but Planet is a great place too.

I love the Cosmo

I was just in Vegas I thought the Cosmo was gorgeous and it's in a great location. I think the Bellagio was a bit too old. Its not as updated. We stayed at the Mirage and I highly recommend it. It's in a good location, the rooms are nice, and the pool was awesome (they even have a nude pool if you're into that).

Bellagio is one of my favorite hotels in the city! It's beautiful and in the middle of the strip so it's not far from anywhere really.

@Zoe, that hotel is at the Golden Nugget and it is downtown on Freemont Street, nowhere near the Strip, probably not the vibe she is looking for, just a PSA.

The cosmo is gorgeous! If you're going to splurge do the terrace suites! I've stayed there twice and it's always fabulous! I really only go to Bellagio to party (Hyde, Bank and Lily Bar are all great spots). We would have chosen the Cosmopolitan for our wedding/honeymoon but since they consider our weekend a holiday prices were insane!

I would stay at cosmo. We did Vegas for our honeymoon too - and bellagio felt so outdated compared to cosmo. It was very young and cool feeling - we liked hanging out there quite a bit. I can't see bellagio being worth the high price they charge.

Cosmo! Cosmo! Cosmo! I am a Vegas local and it's my absolute favorite casino & hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, it has a fun vibe, and the pool is excellent (the view especially). Bellagio has its amazing atrium garden but I feel like the rest of the casino is very dated.
