Veil above or below the updo?

I love the look of the veil under the updo.

I like both but am a bit drawn to under the updo. But now that I read that I'm never not going to envision a Cookie Monster type of thing but for veils....

LOL! I prefer the veil above. Daughter observed that, to her, too many over bustles look like the bride is "pooping tulle"..... I can't unsee that image....

I like how both look, but pertaining to these two particular photos, I have to say I prefer the veil under the hairdo.

I typically prefer it over, but it really depends on the style.

I guess it depends on if you want any flowers, feathers, or bling in your hair in addition to the veil, like in the last pic.

I prefer under because then you can see the full hairstyle. I paid good money for that hairdo, I want to show it off! An example with a messy bun instead of an elaborate hairdo.

I definitely prefer it over the updo. I actually didn’t realize people ever did it the other way.

I would do both ways during the trial and decide what you like better!

I like it under so you can see your hair but they are both pretty. Maybe try both and see how you like it.

I wore mine above because I wanted the base of the veil to sit a little bit higher (it was “waist length” as intended but really needed to be propped up to actually hit waist instead of mid-butt), but I think it would’ve looked better below the style. Besides, I paid good money for that up-do, I’d have preferred to show it off!

Omg that is one of the reasons i decided not to go for the extra long wedding dress train lmao after seeing what the bustle would look like I decided for the sweep train instead especially since I am so short lmao

Now that is all I'll ever see with the veil under the up-dos now too lmao Personally I prefer the veil over the up-do and that is what I am doing

I think under because I paid enough for my hair I want To show it off!

I prefer over because I like how it poofs at the top and frames the face. The veil is usually sheer enough that you can still see the hairstyle and most brides also usually remove the veil after the ceremony.
